Storm Waves – A quick oil painting study after Ivan Ajvazovszkij

In this art studio vlog: I copied this small study after one of the seascape paintings by russian artist Ivan Ajvazovszkij (1817-1900). Oil painting on hardboard, 2020. It was challenging and also fun to paint the form of the waves and the translucency of the water.
